Upcoming NE Ohio Train Shows

I went to the great train show last year. it had quite a bit of o gauge.  Went to the independence show 2 years ago and it had a good amount of o gaug also.

The Mod Squad O gauge module group will be set up at both events. We personally know the folks who put on the Independence show and they give us all the space we need to set up. Both shows are fun to attend; Independence has plenty of O gauge to look over.

Yes both of those shows are pretty good and I recommend the Medina show if it has not already happened.

Medina was this past sunday

Buddy went to Medina last weekend and said it was OK. 

The recent TCA show in Berea had more O gauge, he said.

I'll be at the Independence show in a few weeks.

The Mod Squad layout is reason enough to attend, IMHO.  And they're a great group of guys.

They've had the silver and blue NKP 777 and matching cars running at the last two shows....Berea and Parma.

Canfield Train and Toy Show is Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10 am to 3 pm. Held in the new Expo Bldg. at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Canfield, Ohio. Has been a pretty decent event in the past, with all scales represented. Do a Google search for more info.

I'm not sure what happened to the Mount Hope Train Show, but many of the vendors show up at the Massillon Train Show - held annually in December.

Just speculation on my part, but I think it was too big to be a one-day show for the amount of work involved in organizing it, and I believe that the venue was Amish owned and/or operated, so that kept it from becoming a two-day show.  I miss that show as it was twice the size of our local Greenberg shows, and comparable in size to the Allentown First Frost & Spring Thaw shows.  At the last Mt. Hope show, the venue was being expanded, and we were hoping for an even bigger show when finished.
