Using Anyrail 6 how do I made a L shaped layout?

Select Insert/Add Surface from menu

- click where you want to start
- move cursor to next point and click
- repeat until last point
- right-click when done

It helps to change settings so you are working with inches/feet and a 10" or 12" grid.

Are you just trying AnyRail or did you buy it? If just testing, have you tried SCARM?

I'm just playing around with the free Anyrail.

SCARM is freeware. Unlimited track. Do a search and download from the left, not the google ad in the center flashing "download".

Have an issue, ask. If its a "real" issue, ask the author: Mixey, who posts here took. A bit harder, but very customizable, a 3d view, and I think a simulation view is ready too. (?, I don't have windows anymore. I miss SCARM.)

Anyrail is a good program, just not my favorite anymore.

I use them both

In my opinion: 

Anyrail: better for laying tracks (especially flexible track)

SCARM: better for 3D rendering
