Could go on the Command forum, but I'm equally or more interested in knowing overall satisfaction with these AA sets.
Not a fan of Lionel's MPC or newer era FA-2s. They seem really cheap compared to my PW AAs. Plus, they all seem to come with Pullmor motors which would prevent me from adding cruise if I decide to upgrade.
I've been pleased with Williams/WBB engines overall and have even had a couple upgraded to ERR TMCC, but I haven't found many in road names I want (B&O, NKP, NYC, Pennsy, or Erie/EL).
I regularly see the K-Line equivalents from around 2000 on the secondary market in 3 of those road names. Anyone have a set and quick review? Do they look as good as the Wms/WBBs? Run as well and smoothly? I've never owned a K-Line diesel.
Anyone know if these if the K-lines have can motors that would allow for ERR's cruise?
Any words from experience with upgraded Wms, WBB, or K-Line FA-2 AAs would be appreciated, too.
