Weekend Photo Fun starts early.
Worked on some projects this week at the club. Empty stations annoy me. So I did something about it.
A greenhouse needs to be full as well.

I started my tinplate layout down at the club 5 years ago this month. Here is the first video I shot 5 years ago.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been running New York Central equipment on my 12’-by-8’ model railroad. NYC #415 is an MTH Railking model of a USRA 0-8-0 steam switcher (30-1123-1) that I bought in 1997. New York Central Fairbanks-Morse H10-44 #9110 is a Railking diesel switcher (30-21010-1) that I purchased recently. The two videos below show these two locomotives on the north and south sides of the layout.

Thanks Scott for getting us started for this fine weekend!!
This week the company photographer has been out and about snapping photos both on the FSJR and in Patsburg both day and night.
A steadfast workhorse, old number 97just keeps on going no matter what. Here it is doing some late afternoon switching down at the junction.
Nothing like viewing a load of new 1950 Studebakers being unloaded from this automobile boxcar.
At sunset the streets come alive with folks out and about.
Looks like the Jacobs family is going on vacation with their new Woody and Airflow trailer.
Nice Mel. I just picked up the NYC H10 44.
Some recent work on the On30 Utacolzona Lucky #7 Mine.
Added a coal chute. It still needs some more work by extending the bottom of the chute.
Thanks for looking. Dennis.
This past weekend, my club set up at the Great Scale Model Train Show in Timonium, MD. This was our first time there, and probably not our last, as it was a lot of fun!
As there were only 6 of us at this show, I didn't get the chance to take a lot of pix, but we were visited by Shawn from Dakman Productions, and he did a video of our layout. Here is the link to the video.
And a little more than a week earlier, we saw this unique item at a Bandit Meet in York, and later on the fairgrounds next to its fifth wheel. Now that is doing York in style! Check out the array of air horns on top, the air tanks for them (I assume) behind the front wheels, and the bell with the UP Big Boy shield on the back.

Freight trains running today:
Passenger trains have been moved and will just need to take a rest and wait:
Norm,
Another great weathering job! It’ll fit right in with your Y6’s. Maybe it’s time to follow up your earlier short video of the N&W double heading with a helper on the rear! The first one left me longing for more.😊

The PRR OEG415 was a diesel powered Brill 660. They were originally gas powered until a devastating fire in 1942 forced the PRR to go to the less volatile diesel. Here it is with a BP54 trailer.
AWESOME stuff this Friday, I loved it, so much so that I don't remember everyones post. Suffice it to say, there was a tremendous amount of wonderful shots and great examples of all kinds of terrific modeling.
Everyone have a great weekend.
This was a week of many projects. The key project was getting my DCS system set up, which I was finally able to get done! Next up, I wanted to build a camera car so I can haul my GoPro around the layout. I had a helmet mount and attached it to a flat car I had. Introducing the camera car!
This has given me some cool shots
The last thing I worked on was detailing my Union Railroad roster. I picked up an SW1 switcher from Mr. Muffin at York. The Union has red coolers mounted on all of their engines. Someone at York told me they picked some up from a certain auction site, so I picked some up. I really like how they turned out.
That was not the first run this year. Recorded the video in 4k and it wouldn’t upload even though it was smaller than 100 mb
