Hello Fellow Railroaders,
This is Allan I'm starting on my layout and I was wondering about something. My layout will consist of 3 levels & a Helix.1) Staging Aera, 2) Mainline, 3) Elevated Aera, 4) Helix. Should I start with the Staging aera first? or the Helix.
Let's face it I'm a big boned person? I think I would get stuck a little if I try any other level. What should I do?

Are your upper levels built up from the main bench or attached to the wall. If they are attached to the wall, build the upper levels first before the lower bench blocks access.

Thank you for your reply. You asked if the upper level is built on a fixed shelve on the wall. The upper level will be similar to the NYC like the Bronx.
