I have a #6072 turnout that is damaged and was wondering what type of glue would be best to fix it? Last night I was laying some track and was opening this piece and found that it was damaged. Its been in its original box for 4-5 years. So I can fix it but what type of glue should I bye and which type would be best.As you are entering the turnout the first 2 ties are loose.

Scot,

Before the epoxy/clamping, use a chisel point Xacto knife to slice off what remains of the broken plastic nibs on the ties that once held the rails in place. It is difficult to seat the rails properly if these are left in place.

As a member of a modular group with several members who were less than careful when transporting modules, I speak from much experience with this repair!
