Looking for fellow Hoosier 2 railers here in Indiana that would have interest in starting a modular Ow5 group. Much like the old Unaffiliated O scalers group I remember watching at shows as a child. The growl of the All Nation ABA Santa Fe F3's as they passed by at my eye level and the solid click of metal wheels over rail joint is what set in stone my desire to model in O scale 2 rail and mostly with vintage equipment. Sadly that group and its modular layout was nolonger active once I made it to driving age and had a car. I would like to realize that childhood dream and do what they were doing once again. I am cursed with a small house, like many modelers these days and a satisfying 2 rail layout just does not fit well. But I could do a couple modules and use them to display and enjoy my models at home, then fit them to a larger layout and stretch their legs pulling trains. I will be at the new fall Indy meet starting a list of interested people. I am located in Kokomo, so north central to central Indiana area. Plenty of shows in this area to set up at. A location to keep the layout set up all the time would be great, but no likely unless someone has a place. My email, which also should be in my profile, is allis920diesel at yahoo dot com.
