Santa Claus has been asked to deliver the Williams NS New York Central Heritage Unit # 22831. Everywhere I look, I can find no information on when the unit will ship.
Does anyone have any info or idea when/where these will arrive.

What type of engine is this? A diesel or a steam engine and what make or model, like a T-1 or an SD-45?
WBB is very general with their website and don't have product locator anymore.
I just found a WBB # 21831 NYC SD-90 heritage diesel, all it says is temporary out of stock. No other info.

You might try asking the question on the bachmann forum board. They are pretty good about answering those type question.

I do confess that I NEVER even thought of the Bachman board!
Check either www.trainworld.com or www.westerndepot.com to see if either one of these stores has an engine similar to what you want in stock and able to be shipped by the holiday.
One comment on the WBB SD-90's, they are not close to what Norfolk Southern did, Norfolk Southern used SD-70ACe diesels for the heritage units and WBB is using left-over SD-90's.

Yeah you can't depend on catalog items to be out for Christmas. The safe way is to consider something that is available now.

I have noticed in the past 8 to 9 years that most catalogs are wish books, wish they ever made it! Sorry to be so harsh on catalogs by the major two companies, but this is what I have been noticing.
