Hello, got a suspended layout in basement 7’ X 48’ Using Menards O gauge track. It has a Crossover 042 curves with 054 curve to crossover. Do you think 14 ga landscaping wire with (6each) 18gauge feeders will be enough. Using a Lionel ZW 275. Will be using a Lionel 260e locos and passenger cars. Thanks

That should be plenty of capacity. As for the number of feeders, for that much track, I'd probably do them around every 8-10 feet.that will probably give you more like 10-12 feeders from the track.
Thanks gunrunnerjohn, I’m also using 30” straights everywhere. Would I still need 10-12 feeders?
You can probably get by with a few less, but again, a few more drops won't hurt anything, but if you need more, that will be a problem.
Would it be ok if I come out transformer with 2 leads and split them to feed 5 on one side crossover and 5 on other side? Thanks
Sure, that would be fine.
John I got it wired to the crossover( negative on outside rail) on other side of crossover would negative be on inside rail?
Are you talking 2-rail? In 3-rail, the polarity never changes. By polarity, I mean the hot side or the common from the transformer. If your common is on the outside rail at one place on the layout, it's there for all of the connected track.
John, he has a figure eight track plan. The rail on the outside of the curve on one side, is the inside rail on the other side of the crossover. The good news is that in three rail it does not matter because the center rail is always the center rail.
Like I said, the outside rail is always the outside rail.

Sweeeeeeeet layout.
I like your rigging to the ceiling.
Thanks for sharing the pix,
Mike
So it’s Always the outside rail on a 3 rail even in a figure 8??? I thought it would be outside rail on one side crossover and on the inside of the other side of the figure 8
Also, on a figure 8 the inside rail is also always the outside rail. 🤔
And, if using Menard's tubular track, the inside rail and the outside rail are electrically tied together!! 🤯
Thanks for All the Help. Can’t wait to finish and finally get a train running up there!
