Wiring a Lionel pre-war #2689W tender

Back in September 2012 TrainDork posted a question about needing a wiring diagram for a Lionel 2089W tender. After looking at the dialogue between members and TrainDork I couldn't find any reference to a wiring diagram. I have the same issue with this same number tender; the wires have all been cut or have fallen off and I want to rewire it. Does anyone know if there is a wiring diagram out there for this pre-war tender or the same wiring for a similar tender number.
