It has been a fabulous year being married to a wonderful lady who goes way out of her way to make life special for me. What makes it even more special is how she has taken to O-Gauge trains. She loves the layout and everything about trains as I do. She was an instrumental part of our renovation project this year. When we started this project, she was on her hands and knees shoveling old ballast material off the benchwork. What a dirty and messy job, but she was more than happy to contribute to what would come from this work.

For those of you who are married, I hope you can all have the same feeling about your wedding anniversaries.

Happy Anniversary! So cool that you and your wife have such a common interest in your hobby. Must really help to keep you motivated when your other half is just as interested in the outcome of a project as you are. May you have many many more years of companionship and layout upgrades and expansions!

Congrats to you, Brian and Elizabeth!  We share the same anniversary!  We went out for brunch at a restaurant called the Magic Flute in San Francisco.  Great food and ambience.  Then we drove over to the old Army fort, The Presidio, and walked around.  I wouldn't trade the boss for anyone!  We've raised two daughters and a son.  And...after all...she's the CEO of the Brisbane and Bushong Railroad!  Matt

HHMMMM,  You were serious   !!!!!!  She does know about the BRIDGE!!!!!!

Have a wonderful time !!

Your comment about Pres. Reagan,  were you possibly a member of the Armed Forces, protection group.  I  have a friend whose son , was member of Bush, and Clinton's military armed protection service.

Eddie, you live close enough to come over and see the changes in our layout. You are welcome anytime. Jeff, many thanks. TGP, my visit to meet President Reagan had nothing to do with the military. When we were living in the DC area, one of my employees had a next door neighbor who was a Secret Service agent assigned to the White House. The agent, who was a terrific guy, made all of the arrangements. Got to see areas of the White House not opened to the tourists. And Sam, thank you. Although we have not met face to face, I have gotten to know you very well and for that I am thankful.

Thanks Mike, Dave, Brian & Jerry for your best wishes. Mike, we are going to Alex's open house and you may want to contact me about a ride. Dave, we would love to have you as our guest the next time you come over for York. We have a guest room with you name on it. Northern New England is beautiful spring and fall.

John, TGP, and David, thank you for your kind remarks. Elizabeth and I have enjoyed reading all of your best wishes.

With respect to the Evans Design LEDs, I do not have the part number. I would suggest you call Dave at (303)410-1118 and if you mention my application, I am sure he can give you the part number. The strings are 80" long. I believe they were custom done for me, but I am sure he can fill your order.
