Sorry for all the posts but I think I have 3D fever! Here's another part I've always wanted that I sketched up last night. The idea was to install a Kadee on one of my 3RS upgrade projects with a minimum of cutting, grinding, and gluing. I wanted to mount a Kadee to the correct height with some structural integrity and a minimum of parts. In the past I would have hacked this out of styrene or brass (or maybe both). This adapter bolts right up to the rear tender shell screws. Still a bit rough but this allowed me to test fit the major dimensions. The Q2 is relatively plain at the drawbar so other than a higher quality print, I may add a brake hose mount. With some mods, I can probably get this to fit a lot of my projects in the future.

Nice work Mario! Wish I would have gotten a printer sooner. Here’s my other Q2 I’ve had for many years now - as you can see the new mount is much, much nicer! I do like to revisit old projects with new ideas from time to time, so as work progresses on the new Q, I will probably use the new parts to improve the older engine.
