Hey Folks,
Heading to Korea today from Qingdao to inspect our GN08 Super Mikados. They are done, and will be shipping as soon as I check them all.
Many projects are on the edge of being completed at our factory in China, and I decided to let a very good friend fill in for me at York. Jonathan Peiffer, who has been working with us on the diesel and car artwork is a very knowledgeable and capable fellow. He and Bob Heil, my East Coast Representative and also good friend, will be at our booth in the Orange Hall DD-01.
What won't be there is ME. But that's ok, because I will be here making sure that all our customers have a good out of box experience with our latest models.
So what is new out here?
The Sample of the SP AC9 Anniversary Series will be finished in about 10 days. I will post pictures and information about the AC9s. You will see these in December.
The FP7s and Santa Fe Super Chiefs are coming along well and will be done October 24th. We will have them around Thanksgiving to ship to you.
The Canadian Train is having delays in tooling. Each tool correction takes another 4 weeks. The cars are being finished, but we are waiting for the tools to be corrected to add the details. It's gotta be right or it doesn't leave here. Looking for a January to February Shipping Date.
The PRR Express Cars: BM70M - RPO, Horse Express and Theater Scenery Cars are going into production and will be finished late this year.
The 1938 PRR Broadway and the B Set of the B&O Columbian will be in production in December for a January delivery.
The rest of our projects are in various stages of design, negotiation and scheduling.
So while I regret not being able to see all of you at this York, the next show is just around the corner.
