beautiful!
Looks like you hit the colors spot on... what did you use?
Neat colors. Just got my first 9E MTH on an ebay auction, to match the Stephen Girard cars I've had for years. Might add a few pounds of weight to it.

They look great, Terry!
WOW! That is an eye catcher!

Very Nice, great job.
Like the way you masked the front window and the white stripe.
I m also a fan of rattle can paint.
I did the same on a #8 with the windows and stripping.
I also change the pantograph to the larger one use on post war trains.

I have a Traditional 9E for my Girard set. It pulls 4 cars easily. I have to test how many it will pull. No weights added.
Stunning paint job. I am having a Mojave loco re-painted in Mojave but I would like to change the chassis color from black to Maroon to match the Mojave 33 passenger cars. How do you get the MTH-like glossy look clear coating versus the flat repaints that I see all the time?

Buy gloss paint, use proper primer on stripped bare metal, good lighting so you can see to keep paint wet but not over apply and cause runs, heat part to 150-175 helps a bunch.
Much thanks for the advice. I hope it cones out well.
if you have a low pressure sprayer,,,,henning paints are good,,,if not, rattle cans, but a few light coats are better than one heavy that can run,i then set mine under a plastic container to keep dust off,,,,t
