990 LEGACY BASE AND CAB-2

I received a RA # from Lionel - Service NC. I sent the Base and Cab-1 to Concord, NC. on 1-6-2018. I received it back on 2-14-2018. It was well worth the wait. Everything is working fine now !! There was no charge for the repair.

When I apply track power on my Cab-1 I get a red LED on the bottom right hand side of the Cab-1 blinking fast. I had no control of my diesels. Also on the upper right  corner of the Cab-1 there is a small circle with two arrows rotating around the circle counter clockwise. They did ask me if there anything in the upper right hand corner of the Cab-1.

this does not sound correct.  lionels command system is a stand alone system and only has one wire connected to the outside rail.

and you keep saying cab-1 yet you state "there is a small circle with two arrows rotating around the circle counter clockwise"

this is a legacy cab -2 to show the system is working

yes I understand the title states 990 legacy base, just trying to be clear.

The Cab-2 is working again I have had this 990 set for 4 years. I operate S-Gage 2 rail. have never had a problem.

you might feel "what ever" but lots of people read these forums and it is important that the terminology is correct.
