Just got home and found this in my mailbox. I am showing it parked beside the the MTH release from 2009 or 2010 (cant remember for sure). I was really pleased to see that MTH did not replicate the road # from the previous release. The new release is road 5779. Only issue is that only 1 side of the car has the road #. Anyone else have the new release with only the road # on one side?

I have not picked up my car yet, but I just looked up some pictures of the prototype. It appears that the car number only appears in the yellow area on one side of the car. The number appears on the other side of the car but in the blue field area of the flag graphic. It doesn't appear that MTH put the second car number in the blue field area on the opposite side of the car at least in your pics. I could see them not putting the number there because it is hard to see (i.e. red numbers on blue). I know I almost missed it in the prototype photos and had to take a second look.

Yes , both runs of this car are lighted.

So who painted your doors on the older 5769 car (20-68002 from 2008 v2)? They look really well done.
