Here are some pictures from the San Luis Obispo Amtrak station this afternoon. I lucked out and saw the Surfliner and both the Southbound and Northbound Coast Starlight trains that meet every afternoon at about 3PM. It is kind of interesting that these two trains that travel between San Diego and Seattle both arrive at about the same time here in San Luis Obispo:

Great pics Stangtrain, one of my favorite train rides the Starlight. When I get on in Seattle we pass a Northbound Starlight in Portland then another in Northern CA. near Redding and finally in San Luis Obisbo. A great train ride. Thank you
Superb setting for train watching! That overhead pedestrian bridge is begging for photography!
