Yes, I was that guy who paid that price (plus crating and shipping from the east coast to CA) way back when at the NTTE auction. I have the original crate Lionel made for it as well as the original instruction sheet. You probably won't believe this, but I have owned two originals. Only four exist. I have the only crate known. One of the four has a recreated mountain.
