When we come up from CT, there are about 4 options to get there.. probably the same from the North!

Parking is at Gate 9 at one end of the fairgrounds if that helps...

Yes, you can use exit 7 and go over the bridge.

If you use Rt.5, you have to go thru a congested business area and start your show experience frustrated. I come from the west on I-90 and the one time I used Rt.5, I was rear-ended by an eager shopper.

I'm eagerly anticipating my Annual trip.
And I go over the bridge, it's a reasonable way in.

Coming down Memorial Ave from Rt5/I91 can be fun to say the least. Just remember when you are headed to the Big E grounds all those strip malls you pass used to be the B&A shops back in the day. Long gone.


If I were you coming south from points north from I91 get off at exit 13 I think B and come down rt 5 to the round about/rotary to Memorial Ave. That way you avoid the BS in Springfield.

Gary, (or anyone else) what is the best way to get to the fairgrounds coming from the Worcester area on the Mass Pike? There has to be a better way than what I have used in the past

For you get off exit 4 and get on rt 5 south. Exit 4 is for both I91 and Rt 5 so watch the signs.

Coming down rt 5 may take a little longer but avoiding the crazies on I91 South of I391 is worth it.
