Any 6x16 plans available? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi All.....I am new to the site and so far I am really loving it.

A few years ago I ran HO until I moved and sold pretty much everything. I am now starting fresh with O gauge. Room is not a problem since I had a 2200 sq ft ranch home built with a basement to match. I plan on using my two 4x8 tables leftover from HO to start while also extending the width 2 feet to allow for bigger curves (6x16) .I would like to be able to run 2 passing trains at the same time as well as a reverse direction capability. I am also leaning towards Fastrack but thats not cast in stone. I have seen quite a few plans however not much in that size with a list of track parts etc. At this stage of my model train knowledge or lack of it ,I definitely need that parts list. I will keep on searching but in the meantime I was hoping there may be a few suggestions or at least a few smart remarks if I asked the veterans of this place.

Fastrack will cost you, it's not cheap and very loud. If I were to go back to O, I would buy tube track from Menards and switches from Ross or Gargraves track and Ross switches.

This is my 6x16 Atlas O layout......which could be translated to Fastrack.....

Operationally, I removed all of the curved switches. In addition, I also removed the passing siding on the top.
