Having waited patiently for my #900, I now await a bit more impatiently for the power to run my new layout. Anybody have any clues when the 180watt bricks are supposed to arrive? I checked several places- nada. The 'Bay is similarly empty. Got two on backorder with Legacy Station- they originally said "mid-April"...and now it's mid-May.
Can't run a railroad without motive power. Can't run motive power without juice. What gives here, Lionel LLC? You really seem to use the "Slow boat from China".

It's so sad that the most basic items that get looked over. Track, command systems and power all seem to get overlooked. Can't run a model railroad without them! You would figure the manufacturers would foresee this.

Marty- you are spot-on with your comments. I had to call in and cancel an order to the place I backordered these. They're a good shop and I don't like taking business away from anybody. Lionel really needs to figure out what are the fundamental items you need to run a railroad- i.e., tracks and power, and ensure that at least someone has them in the United States. Honestly- I would have my layout up and running months ago if not for these sorts of delays. :-( Thanks again, guys! Now for the wiring...ugh. :-)
