Im curious if anyone on the forum ordered the Lionel L&N 1992 Berk from the 2017 volume two catalog. I haven't seen any pictures of it online.

These are not L&N M-1 Berkshires; they are re-decorated NKP 2-8-4's, yet again. I would buy a model of the L&N M-1, but no one in 3-rail has made one. A lettering job is not a modeling job.
Below: I was given this 1960's (or so) Japanese brass KTM model of an actual L&N 2-8-4 last year, from the estate of a deceased friend in Mobile. Big 2-rail layout.
This is an accurate L&N Berkshire (the Lima version) model; 2-rail but it does look comfortable posed on that 072 curve. As you can see, except for the lettering, it and its tender look nothing like the NKP 2-8-4 above.

And truth and fantasy cross paths. A horror of model railroading. How badly do you want any L&N 2-8-4, fantasy or not?
The Lionel version isn’t quite an M-1, but it could be called a Big Erma, as in adding an error (r) to Emma.
