I saw something I might want to purchase but I haven't had any experience with them. Anyone use them?

Brady's is my local hobby shop. I have bought countless items from them and never had a problem. John Brady (the owner) is a great person.
In the last few weeks, I've purchased the W&ARR passenger coachs and baggage coach (2007/08 production) plus a K-lionel Keystone Porter. Good prices, prompt delivery. Bout the only place I could find that still had that baggage car.
Chris i bought a few things off of them. I never had any problems.
I bought one thing there, because it was the only place that I could find it. Their shipping is absolutely outrageous (it goes up exponentially based on the item cost, not its weight). I also found it strange that there's a "store" and an "e-commerce site", which are related, but have nothing to do with one another. Calling the number for the store will not get you an answer for stock on the website.
My stuff showed up, but I would only order from them as an "absolutely gotta have it" last resort.
John is a darn good businessman; he knows the O gauge market very well. When dealing with him, it becomes a situation of give and take.

I'll second that. Brady's is not far from me, and I've had nothing but good dealings with them. Never had to ship anything though, since I am so close.

I'm with Boilermaker1. I too also bought a hard to find item and paid an enormous sum on the shipping. It was 10% of the item's asking price. Unfortunately, I don't plan on buying from them again because I don't even live close to the shop and don't want to incur any outrageous shipping fees. Other than that, the item was fine and new as stated.
