Wow! What choices of the GATX Tank Trains! If you bought just one complete set it will send you back 7 bills! Add to that a multitude of add-ons if you have purchased all the sets throughout the years! What are you ordering for your Tank Train... Or are you Tank Trained out?

I am definitely interested in the original billboard graphic creamsicle set but also like the small black with white graphic sets to add to my black and billboard white set.

The white with black lettering is the new century scheme ( 2000+) and the black with the conspicuity yellow striping [2005+] are beyond my timeline so I am out with that set along with the C.N. set. I can't afford it all. Like Clint Eastwood Said, a Man's gotta know his limitations!

I am a TankTrain guy.  I bought the original SP Tank Train set in 2004.  Then I bought the NS Tank train set in 2009.  Then I bought the next SP Tank Train set in 2014.  Also, I bought all the additional add-on cars.  So yes, I'm glutted out on TankTrain cars.

I'm glad that Lionel is now offering some new TankTrain cars because they seem to be rare and I have had a lot of offers on my cars.  But as far as me buying more cars, tanks but no tanks.

I love tank cars, but I still run the 1, 2, and 3 dome tank cars from the mpc/Lti era.  There are so many to choose from and they are sturdy enough to play with and handle without breaking some railing, step or marker.  The colors are crisp and vibrant.  I worked in a refinery for a couple of years in the 70s so i am drawn to the tank cars and tanker trucks.

I'm the same. I run a tank unit train of a 2555 and a bunch of PW and MPC and LTI 1-, 2- and 3-dome cars, including some by K-Line and Weaver. That's all I need, especially at today's prices.
