Am not very familiar with Atlas diesel and may be acquiring an F3 with TMCC. Do they also have cruise?

How old is Sam? Like 3rd Rail the ones from about 2003 had TAS EOB. I think the newest ones use ERR Cruise but not sure.
Pete
Some of the Atlas engines had standard TMCC without cruise, so you have to actually check what's in the unit.
I have no idea when it was produced. Won't be able to talk with the seller again until Sun evening. Was curious...
It's a GM&O AA pair.
If they are from this 2008 run, they look to have EOB cruise. Item# 1612-1 or 1612-2 for the powered units.
All the 3-rail F-3s that Atlas O has done so far have EOB (Engineer on Board) cruise control. The EOB cruise components are no longer made. The newer Atlas O engines cataloged after 2011 have ERR (Electric Railroad) cruise control units, but all the Atlas O F-3s made so far pre-date that.
Have located our Atlas Santa Fe F3 No. 20 Item #1617-1 that shows "equipped with" Lionel Railsounds Trainmaster. If this one has cruise would it say so on the box?
It has the scale pilot in the box and appeared to be new.
The only paperwork it has is a warranty card dated 1998. I ran this one last year and it performed really well, sounds great, and smoked well. Don't remember if I thought to check for cruise....

Check the link I posted above Sam, those santa fe units are listed there as having cruise as well, however those and the GM&O units are from 2008, not 1998.

Those Santa Fe F-3 engines were among the first batch of F-3s that Atlas O produced, and came out in late 2008. That warranty card is from somewhere else, presumably. These engines are equipped with EOB cruise, as Rick notes. Note that many of the Atlas engines did not have a sticker on their box indicating that they had EOB.

Thans a lot Rick - I somehow missed this post earlier.
Am glad to know that they are somewhat 'recent production'.
Don't see a B unit for the GM&O, did the prototype evidently not have them?
