I Need to get some opinions before i go any further with this, I am in the process of making my own Balast i purchased a 25 lb box of crushed walnut shells at home depot and want to change the color i read on the internet of some ways to color the crushed walnut shells 1st one was to get some dry pigment and mix it up with the shells and then spread it over the track 2nd way i read to use a mixture of India ink and alcohol and put the walnut shells into the mixture then spread them out to dry. does anyone have a prefered method ?
Does anyone have a method that work good, any thoughts on this ?
