I like the prominent church structure on the layout, too.

A model city more than a layout!

Take the ride out to see this layout you will not regret it! It makes me run home and start working on my layout like crazy! Nick
I just can't even imagine the skill involved in not just building it, but the initial design. That is so over the top it is unreal.
I would love to see that in person 1 day.
Thanks

Same thing I am always repeating to myself Ed.Also the man hours in such a build have to be mind boggling ! Nick
Nick,
I am old and have an excuse for not being able to comprehend the effort involved in building this.
As a kid in Catholic grammar school in the 50's I remember the nun at a parent teacher meeting telling my mother that in her opinion I was not a "deep thinker" and should think about going to a technical high school rather than a 4 year college. Truth is I really was a deep thinker just not about anything relating to school studies. I actually took long amounts of time to decide on what items from the Lionel catalog I wanted to put on my Christmas list to Santa. That took deep thought ! I do like to think I proved that nun wrong.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall when they designed and then built this.
Ed
Still can't believe it Nick
