When I needed larger quantities of #805 Kadees, I generally purchased them at shows, where "quantity discounts" were offered. Dealers such as Rails Unlimited, P&D Hobby Shop, and some others at the Chicago O Scale March Meet, always tended to have fair pricing, plus NO SHIPPING. Since I no longer do mass freight car up-grades to Kadee couplers, I now purchase the occasional single package at my local hobby shop.

How much less?  I'd need to hear it be a meaningful number - not $2.99,

And, I don't care about these not being metal; I've never had an 804 fail, and they work just fine on metal cars; I save the 805 for my wood cars when possible.

Could take 10-20.

KEY words

I used to buy Floquil paint for $1.97, and before they discontinued the line I was paying $5 and $6 a bottle.

It's not even fair to compare prices of yester year when someone is looking for a god price right now... today. 1st you said less than $1.75 and now you've changed it to less than $3. You get people all excited...for nothing
