I couldn't understand whether or not it was live steam or some sort of heat driven mechanism.
Very interesting layout but this could also be done using N or TT gauge trains with track, a small rheostat and and a plug in AC/DC adapter.
What a cool way to save the day when your out camping and have to spend most of the day stuck in a tent because it decided to rain.
