I downloaded the required soft ware and put it on my desktop. I unzipped the files to do this. When I try to run the files I can't. Windows media player pops up but it can't display or run the program. Do I need a special app to run or open them? I have a fairly new HP computer, less than a year old, running windows 10. Windows want's me to buy an app, what app do I need? I'm lost to say the least.

You update the TIU and the remote using the DCS Loader Program, not by double-clicking on the update files themselves. The Loader Program 5.0 will ask you for the files.

Update. I just upgraded 3 TIU"s & remotes. I had to install updated drivers on my PC and everything went without a hitch. I do need some rubber feet as 1 TIU doesn't have any. Where would I get these? Do I even need them? Thanks for the help. One other thing, can I put this software on another computer? I need to as soon as I get internet service in my train building. Thanks again.

My TIU's normally go "shoeless". In my opinion, most rubber feet eventually fall off unless you care to glue them in place.
