Marty,

MTH is releasing another unit later this year that will do what you want.  The DCS Explorer.

That's not necessarily the case.

The DCS Explorer is the equivalent of one TIU channel. If the OP has two separate loops wired in passive mode and wires the DCS Explorer in the same way, it can only work with one of his loops. In order to use it for both loops, he'll have to rethink his wiring scheme.

Well then I bow to your expertise.

hi, again, thanks for replies. I found dsc explorer t.i.u on mth website, but no detail how they work. was trying to find downloadable manual, but no luck so far. not willing to spend $$$ on full system, thought ,if  could run 2 wifi t.i.u. s (109.00 each at train world) would be more in my price range. only have two mth engines. the rest are conventional engines, thus the reason i have them set up in passive mode. i see Barry  Broskowitz, says this won't work.(2 wifi setup).   any ideas,or information would be helpful.   anyway thanks guys, love this site, lots of good information.
