Finally at the point where I’m fairly confident the train won’t come crashing down should it derail. I have plexiglass up in spots and the track is solid. Train is the MTH T-1 with PS1, PRR reefer and the Fleet of Modernism set 20-65184.

Looks solid, just be careful it doesn't drip grease on you. 
19 years later, after some TLC by Royz Trains, the 3rd Rail Mercury rides again! I’ve got figure something out regarding my room lighting. Right now I just have that floor lamp in the corner. Any recommendations on how to light a ceiling layout?
I used a series of LED lamps, running the wiring along the track in a circle around the room, each corner had one. I ran the power wire up one corner in a sleeve from Home Depot that had a wall wart for power and used a power strip with on off switch.
