Does anyone know any custom builders that build o scale structures and buildings for o gauge layouts.

Search You Tube for Al Pugliese Trains. Lots of episodes with custom builder Howard Zane. You can view different structures in various stages. The majority are O scale. His contact info. is in the video.
Checkout Forum member Stu Gralnik. I believe he advertises in OGR.
There is at least one ad in OGR offering that service; I am not near an issue at the moment so do not know the name.
Model Building Services the owner is Stu Gralnik. Check his website and Facebook page. He does nice work. He’s building something for me and I have one of his Substations.

Check out the scenery source list posted near the top of this section of the forum. It lists done layout builders and custom builders.
Not sure if this is allowed but I wanted to make custom buildings. not for sale but for my layout. If you want to learn how to make your custom buildings I have decided to try to make content to help fellow modelers.
The video below shows how you can design your building and laser cut or 3d print the files. I had this same question and honestly buying a laser cutter and a 3d printer i felt was more fun/cheaper than asking someone else to and paying for structures.
Forum Member Stu Gralnik is terrific. He built and detailed several structures for me. His work is outstanding.

I echo above, Stu does amazing work
Search the recurring "Sunday Scenic Showcase" threads by Alan Graziano. Superb model building. There's one posted today(2/4/24). He does excellent and very detailed structure work. Sunday-scenic-showcase-february-4
What types of buildings are you looking for? Custom buildings according to your specifications or just completed buildings you could use in general? There are quite a few options for prebuilt detailed buildings.
As mentioned above, there's quite a few custom builders, and like Dave said, it depends on what specifications or what types of buildings you're looking for, and what price range you are looking for. I am passionate about urban tall buildings and have kit-bashed quite a few myself. Doug makes some great buildings at www.toddarchitecturalmodels.com
I can't help myself to say this, yet it's mind-boggling that Lionel falls short of the mark with decent-looking buildings, yet they produce some of the finest detailed engines and rolling stock available. Customers of their train line have no alternative but to find other companies' structures.
Paul:
Making buildings has never been a core part of Lionel's business. It's not where the money is.

The below buildings are some of the buildings Stu Gralnik of Model building Services did for me over the last several years. The factory was a total scratch build from request for a 4 story factory to fit certain dimensions. The Power House next to the factory is a modified Crow River Products machinery building housing two HRT steam boilers I built. Stu modified the building to be like a real power house. He also built the high rise around the lally column, the church to he left of the factory and the Tattoo parlor. The next picture is the factory at night with the lighting Stu installed. The next three pictures are kits he built for me with his own touches like lights and signs. These are some of what he did for me.
