DCS can 5.0 be rolled back to 4.20 if things don't work out?

It can, if you have saved the 4.2 files downloaded from MTH when you upgraded to 4.2.  I have had no new problems pop up with 5.0, and am pleased with it.  Note you will need the new loader program, also called 5.0, which would be able to reload 4.2 if you wanted to go back.

You too? Just want to see what's up don't you? I went to 5.0 for the wifi and stopped using the wifi anyways. I need the pro app. Hard to see the cell phone screen outside, etc.

5.0 does work. It has kept me on my toes. I did not go back to 4.x like I thought I would have to. I have a feeling you'll need to rebuild your consists.

 I have so many variables, like running outside and mixing up what engines are pointing what direction, etc. I now put them on the shelf in the direction they were last run and paired up with what others they ran with.

Very typically i have two freights (35 and 41 cars in tow) being pulled by either 4 or 5 powered ps2 and ps3 diesels...all this running at once. Looking for feedback from 5.0 operators with similar operations.

If you needed the old files, some forumite who has them saved on a computer could email them to you.

I recently upgraded to 5.0 and it seems to run fine. Can't notice anything different or strange. Have not gone wifi yet. I thin you will be OK with it.
