I am still with 4.20 and run several MU's with good success but am willing to upgrade.What will be available? Will we be able to run wifi(tablet) and regular DCS concurrent with the TIU?

Info available is pretty clear that 5.0 supports both tablets and remotes.
I'd be amazed (and sometimes I am) if 5.0 isn't a single update that replaces all the previous versions.
From what I learned at the last DCS users group meeting the original version of the software was so rushed and badly written necessitating all these update.
I would agree with John, its a total re-write.
Frequent, periodic updates are common in all software, and doesn't necessarily mean the original was done poorly. MSDOS worked fine, as did Windows XP.
I spite of all the new versions, DCS has remained a lot of fun to run and easy to grasp as well as upgrade when the time came to do so....and, I am not any kind of electronic genius by any means! Joe
