Presently unable to run my command engines. I have power going from the transformer to the TIU and no power exiting the unit. Generally there is a little red light in the unit that comes on when power is added. It does not light when power is added. Any thoughts. Thanks. Daviddp

Internal fuse blown. Or, is power connect to fixed 1? Is power connected to side port if not to fixed #1?
How are you powering the TIU itself? It can be either by a feed into the AUX port, or into FIXED 1, as John Glacier notes. Check those feeds. I would put off opening the TIU to check fuses (you didn't say what version it is).
The fact that the LED isn't coming on suggests a lack of power. A blown fuse wouldn't affect the TIU getting power.
Good point Gunner John. :-) I over-brain stormed. :-)
John,
A blown fuse wouldn't affect the TIU getting power.
Actually, if power was via Fixed #1 Input and the fuse on Fixed #1 failed, the TIUwould not have power.
This and a whole lot more is all in “The DCS Companion 3rd Edition!" This book is available from many fine OGR advertisers and forum sponsors, or as an eBook or a printed book at OGR’s web store! |

Good point, and of course, correct as well.
