A friend said he has this setup and mentioned he can no longer select "all" and start his trains running when casual guests come to show them his layout in operation. Said he can do it with the remote. Is he correct? (Guessing he likes it because all the units are then running the same speed and maintaining their respective distances?) Thanks!

If your friend only has the free version or the Standard version of the DCS App, or if he's using a DCS Explorer instead of the full-featured WIU, he's correct.

However, with aTIU/WIU combination and the Premium version of the DCS App,he most certainly can operate the ALL ENGINES function, just like he can with the DCS Remote and a TIU.
