I see these (this picture is a 6-18872 on the big auction site) occasionally and don't see much of an explanation of "triple lash up." Per Lionel's online manual, apparently only one of these three is powered- hence a powered and two dummies? Does anyone have one of these and is that correct?    Past posts on the forum for these Pulmor GPs are positive. I assume since it has TMCC, they will be able to run using the Lionel app and the Base 3 when it arrives. (Currently I run the universal remote and the app.)

Maybe not this one on the bay, but in general, prices can be reasonable for an impressive looking "triple lash up" to run like crazy at train shows.   Am I missing anything on these- seems to be potentially a good value at the right price?

There's no issue with any of the existing capabilities for TMCC if the ad copy is to be believed.  I suspect it would be a much harder sell for the BASE3 if they removed some TMCC features, so my expectation is that it'll do multiple unit MU configurations as well as the Legacy system.  I've run triple TMCC MU's with my Legacy with no sweat.

Three K-Line TMCC A-5 locomotives, all powered.

BobbyD is right, two units are powered.  I found the parts break out and it shows two units with motors.

Thanks to Peter and John for the insights. I am not currently a TMCC / legacy guy (...that is obviously changing when the base 3 arrives), but per page 8 of the manual attached, it looks like TMCC addresses all three units as a single loco.
