Well Charlie, looks like you guys had another fun meeting. D3R is rather successful. Did you have a meeting at Super O Bob's yet?

Thanks to Craig and his wife for hosting a wonderful evening. A good time was had by all. Everyone brought something to run, from a Sunset Pennsy GG1 to a Lionel 773, DD35s, Atlas Ann Arbor RS1, etc... It was fun.

Thanks Detroit 3-Railers, I think it was a fun evening, we didn’t have any train wrecks to speak of. I hope our member who are not feeling well get better really soon. The UP DD35’s did a monstrous job of pulling 19 die-cast hoppers (especially up the 3 percent grade at about 60 Lb pull weight ). I sure did enjoy seeing the variety of trains everyone had to run.

I just returned from the Avondale High Train Show. Nice layout you had there. Great video, thanks for posting.

Thanks go to Craig and his wife for hosting a very pleasant evening. I also just returned from the train show, the Layout at the show is not D3Rs but is the Glancy modular layout. We ran trains all day and had a crowd the entire time. I help set it up yesterday, left the break down for the late crew.

Super O Bob moved recently and is looking to have a meet in September of this year.

Jim is correct. The layout shown at Avondale belongs to the Glancy Trains Modular Group, not to be confused with D3R. There are however several members who belong to both clubs.

Craig... thanks for a great train party. Had a lot of fun ans I love the new track expansion. Makes a cool look on that side of the table... we got about 12" away from crashing into twbobs milwaukees. That was a close one. Thanks and looking forward to the next party!
