Did some quick searches and could not find a post on this question -

I'm finalizing my plan for my command center.  But, I don't yet have Legacy and with the Legacy system months from becoming available, I don't know its dimensions in order to properly plan/size my command center.  And the Lionel catalogues do not provide this data.  Can anyone provide the dimensions/specifics?  Length, width, height (and weight if possible).  Thanks  - Peter

Mine is sitting horizontally on a small piece of homosote attached to my peg board via shelf hooks. Cables have good clearance.

I did not get the impression that the original poster was going to recess it into some kind of control center. At least he did not mention that. If that is what he intends to do he will probably need some additional clearance.

Guys - thanks for the responses.

The command center I'm envisioning will be perfectly flat and slide under the layout.  On it will be mounted my toggles, switch controls.  And my DCS remotes and Legacy will sit on it.  Next to it, but mounted horizontally under the layout, will be my electrical panel where I plan to have things mounted - like the TIU (and maybe AIU at some point), the 180 bricks, a power strip, Atlas 6924s (non-derail gizmos), the terminal block(s), etc.
