Does anyone have pictures of a 5x8 or 5x9 layouts? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am probably many months away from building my layout, but it looks like I’ll be limited to a 5x8 or 5x9 layout. A lot is still up in the air, but I would like to have an outer loop (either o54 or o48) to run my preordered sd70, and the rest is a question mark (maybe an alternate route, a spur, and/or a very small o31 upper level track). If anyone could show me their pictures of smaller layouts that are about this size, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had a lot of enjoyment with this 5 by 9 from the Fastrack Book, all O36, except 3 O48.

Hi Csxellent,

First a shout out to John for that great looking layout.

The 5x9 size is a size that Lionel used for many of their factory built Dealer Display layouts. The link is below.
