ever since i bought my lionel hot wheels set I have wanted lionel to release a lionchief plus 2.0 version with more cars and a larger engine . in fact on several ocasions i have dreams that lionel brings back the hot wheels trains. although i was sad when lionel cancelled the ready to play set that i wanted to get. that ramp car was sick.
one dream in particular i saw a catalog spread where lionel modified the coars silver bullet tooling into an LC2 hot wheels train that held a ton of hot wheels cars and also had a mobile on board service station with areas to "tune up" your cars the whole train was orange and blue with flames down the side etc
sadly that train is impossible due to that tooling being under lock and key by coars
i wonder if lionel could even bring back mattel and the hot wheels liscense
was that stuff selling good to begin with?
i don't even know if i can make my own custom train as the silver bullet costs a fortune and i don't have the dexterity to mod that train. plus my family is against anything alcohol related . they would say no even if i said i was using it for a kit bash project to make a hotwheels bullet train
i am just wondering how i can make the train i saw in my dream a reality
