I have several TMCC engines that have a slow top speed running under R100 mode in the Legacy controller. When running the engine, I switch to CAB1 mode, speed up the engine, and then switch back to R100, it restores the full range of speed control. But if I change direction or lose power due to a derailment, it is back to the restricted speed. I have tried resetting any speed limit that might have been set, but it does not resolve this. I like the R100 mode because it displays the icons and is supposed to give finer speed control.
