I got a decent deal on this set used, runs and sounds fantastic. Black widow version F7 which is my favorite car body paint scheme. Is it possible to add a speaker to the slave A unit or does the slave unit not support this?
I was surprised as I didn't realize the slave had no speaker. I want to sound to be more dynamic than just coming from the front end. Alternatively if I can't add the sound to the slave, I may end up just adding full PS3 to it.

you would have to change out the main speaker, and have both at 8 ohms. Then you'd have to run the two wires to the slave from the lead.
This would method would lower the volume correct? Of course the horn would then also play through both too. Seems upgrading the slave to full PS3 is a better answer for me.
Can now see why MTH has gone away from the ABA sets now.

Yes, that would be the best!
I have run 2 8 ohm speakers on one PS2 board. It really was a wash. You are dividing the low wattage between 2 speakers. Mine were separated so I would think you'd get similar results.
I have to believe that MTH chose to change their sets for the best reasons. They heard what we asked for and they decided to offer them as separate units. So I think any decision is already made for you if you want what they changed.
