While at Empire Farm Days in New York I saw a small layout on display with a Lionel Farmall set it was unexpected to find but was a nice little set up.

Very nice! Must have been an uncataloged set. I barely remember it. Sure weren't many of those sets made.
The set was offered to us (CaseIH dealers) on a presell basis. IIRC only 500 sets were made and they did sell out. The place that offered them to us was the Cary Francis Group of Milwaukee, WI. CFG never did pursue making another set with Lionel or with any other O-gauge manufacture. I highly lobbied for an MTH built set but was flatly turned down time and again by CFG.
Someday......another IH train in O-scale will be made (I hope!...get the HINT..MTH!!!!). I'll be first in line to buy it.

I second that MTH should do one, when I saw it I thought I want this set I guess I will have to look around or just do a custom for myself
Weaver made some IH hopper cars a number of years ago as a custom run for a hobby shop. AFIK...these were not licensed by CIH or Navistar, so they would be "black market". They are very hard to find now.
MTH makes train items for "Brand X", Why not make stuff for the other..err..BETTER...color of farm machinery!!!??.
Along that line...a few years ago Athern made some nice 1/50 scale "Brand X" farm tractors. I sold hundreds of them, but they were dropped due to "lack of sales"!? These were great for flat car loads or to use as a scenic on a layout.
