Not sure if this is the right spot but here goes. I know about the fastrack to O adapter Is there an O to O27 adaptor or could it be accomplished with adapter pins? I know I can "expand" a piece of O27 but is there a premade or easier way?

I believe you are talking about transition tracks, and yes there is a FasTrack transition track for O gauge traditional tubular, the transition track you are looking for is a tubular O guage transition track to 027, Lionel did make them. Most people built their own however. As far as I know there is no FasTrack transition to 027 Tubular. You must transition from FasTrack to O Gauge tubular then transition again into 027.
I use the FasTrack transition to O guage tubular, every time I put a 711 or 072 Lionel switch into my FasTrack layout, they work perfectly.

I just pound an O pin into the O-27 track, form it around the pin with track pliers, and connect it to the standard O track. You just need to shim up the O-27 track at the transition , usually one 9" O-27 track to get back to grade level is sufficient.
