I'm looking at buying some Gargraves flex track (S Scale) and hoping someone who's used it can answer a few questions. First, how "flexible" is it? Will it go down to a 21" radius curve fairly easily? Second, how well does the height match AF track? Third, does the tin plated rail require much maintenance or do I need to get the stainless steel rail if low maintenance is a priority? Is there much difference in flexibility between the tin plate and stainless steel rail?

Thanks,

Ken

I built a layout with S tin plate track and gargrves S track and the compatibility is just great. I used the curve pieces from sectional track, and the straights as gargraves. The Nickel Silver plated track is fine and more economical. I have change scales to and have lots of this track in its original box and unused. If you have more questions, or if you need some track I probably have enough to supply your next layout.  Email me at jwcrowley@peoplepc.com.
