It seems that Vision Line GG-1 locomotives are much harder to find than JLC versions and 3rd Rail GG-1 units are even more difficult to find. I have one 3rd Rail unit that is absolutely gorgeous but is not a smooth runner at all. I am considering having the mechanism worked on. Vision Line GG-1 locomotives have largely disappeared. I see them very rarely now when GG1's are offered. I have a Vision PC GGI set I am thinking of selling and also have several JLC versions that sound and operate very well and I do see them offered for sale fairly frequently. Perhaps there were many fewer Vision Line units manufactured. I also have several MTH PS 3.0 GG-1's that operate beautifully. The disparity in values is interesting.
