1st the camera its about 1.6x1.6x2.4". I can't use these as my avatar, but that's OK
I attached it to a gondola, with a rubber band. I thought the video came out great. It is just an O42 carpet loop, but A) thats what I had available today and B at 120smph, you probably don't want to go narrower and you will probably never stress the cameras stability feature more. I have a 3rd video of the inside curve at 5 through 120smph, but these 2 videos are enough torture. There is a way on the go pro2 to narrow the field of view, but I haven't played yet. All told it isn't a cheap camera (my wife bought it for skiing, snowboarding and kids pole-vaulting and soccer). But I think if I narrow the field of view and mount it to something more stable than a light cheap gondola, it will be unbeatable. In march they are releasing a remote Wifi option, this would allow you to hide the camera in a box car, control it remotely and stream to smart phone, computer, iPad etc. Hoping folks with real layouts can take their sharing to a new level.
Here are the 2 videos. They are JUST to demonstrate the camera. The footage of my family room and me, I apologize for.
