Does anyone know if Lionel has replacement handrails for the legacy FM? I have the CNJ version & my son grabbed mine on the side & broke a few of the handrails off. ( Apparently they are really fragile!)

No, it just happened about 20 minutes ago - right before he went to bed!
I made mine from brass wire, I bought one that had the handrails destroyed. They are fragile.
The short front on in the left is the original, the long one is my brass creation. I haven't painted it yet, that's still to do.

the long one is the one he broke off. I can tell he felt upset by it, so I didn;t want to make a big deal. I'm going to give Lionel a call now
I just called Lionel - They have NO parts, or spare shells or anything for these engines. GRJ- would you be able to make me a replacement handrail from brass? Let me know what it would cost. I would be happy to pay you for it, as the engine has a big gap with the missing rails now
